Well, this semester I took up MGM3180 course which is Basic Entrepreneurship. We were required to sell and market whatever things that we have chosen before-hand. My group had chosen to sell Nasi Lemak and we named ourselves “Delicieux”!Basically we’re selling Nasi Lemak and drink. At first we were skeptical about the sales but to our amazement, everyday we are sold out, even on raining day!

Thank you everyone whom supported us!

Thanks to David,Hoo Keng,Tzy Chun,Sya,Aishah,Dila,Nadia,Farhan,Wan and Fazli for the dedication and help in the course of our little business!Bravo!

Well, past these few days, there’s a lot in my mind to think of, the current and the future. But I got one advice that struck me the most, can be simplified as “Do it or Lose It”!

Never scared of doing anything that you feels right and you feel strongly about.Go for it!

Sorry for the lack of posts…hahaha

6th June 2009,Shah Alam- A group of youngsters from Klang traveled all the way to Bukit Cahaya, Shah Alam and paid RM40 to get themselves suffered in the midst of the hills in Shah Alam. They came back safely with just some bruises on hands, empty stomach and in need of sleeping Energizer!

Ok…enough with all those…continue with pics…

Hmm……Basically we paid RM40…..and the extreme height is 23m!But you wont feel it because you will be tired than worried about it…haha

So now comes Part II of RIAnomics

So in the afternoon, the session is divided into two which is Developers and Designers.Initially I plan to go Developer’s session, however….it was too full!So I switched to Designer’s session.

Nexus company presented to us what they do and they are developing one kind of WPF software that allows you to make WPF sort of like presentation by using their template. Few questions are being thrown to them but there’s one guy that we all like, this guy simplifies and speak loud and clearly.

Presentation Tips of the day: SIMPLIFY,LOUD AND CLEAR!

After that, we had another break….makan and minum lagi!…sponsored by Microsoft I think…

Then we had another last session by LV Chong…hope didn’t spell wrongly. Great guy as well, has his own company and he talked about 10 RIA mistakes….such as user friendliness…arghh….forgot so much!

RIAnomics(Part I)

What is RIAnomics? It is a session specially designed for Web Designers and Developers to learn how to leverage on User Experience technology to enable improved branding and increased customer satisfaction.

Basically, it was organized by Microsoft for Web designers and developers on how to improve their website on User Experience by using Silverlight 3.0 and ASP.Net 4.0. They had invited industry players to talk on this day.Very informative.

I went there with Pui Shan and David last Thursday. Was so sleepy as I was awake since 12.30am that day to catch Manchester United vs Barcelona……and they lost 2-0!.So need to take ktm by 6.30am and reach KLCC around 8am.Microsoft office is located in Petronas Twin Towers….very exclusive building and lucky for the employees to work there!

Went to help out Angeline on registration counter, met up several Microsoft Student Partners as well there. In the morning, Ken Chin from Leo Burnett opened up the session with a keynote on Future of Internet. Then we had manager from The Star showing us the technology of Internet Explorer and how they implemented the features into http://www.thestar.com.my(I’ll talk about this in the next post).Silverlight 3 was fantastic, able to make it as desktop application with a click of button!msRIA01

I’m at the Registration Counter…repeating the same words….Can I have your registration slip or name card please?
